Copied verification links sometimes include trailing punctuation
When I copy a verification link from a sentence in chat, the trailing period becomes part of the URL and opens an invalid-link page.

404 Not Found
The page should recognize the accidental punctuation or explain what to remove.

We reproduced this when chat software includes sentence punctuation in the copied URL. We are adding a clearer recovery path without weakening token validation.
